During school term-time, we hold a short mid-week service at 1.15pm at the St Oswald’s Institute, aimed to fit into a lunchtime slot. These meetings follow a simple format of a few opening songs, a short talk from a Bible passage and a concluding song.
See the Church Calendar for dates.
Everyone is very warmly welcome: if you are working in the city, elderly or retired, popping into town, a student or a visitor, this is a great opportunity to see what church is like and to get to know Kings first hand. If you’re not a Christian and are wondering about what Christianity is all about, this is a great opportunity to see a bite-size version of church. If you are a Christian, this is a chance to spend some time focusing on God in the middle of the week.
Reasonably priced lunches, coffee and cakes are available at the Appleby Cafe next door and you are very welcome to join us after the meeting there to chat and get to know us better.
We hope that you’ll join us!
