In Ephesians we see a wide vision of all that God has done from his predestining purpose, through the death of Jesus to the eternal praise of his glorious grace. Just as Paul prayed for revelation, so our need is not just for God’s help, but for revelation: that we might have a better perspective and a bigger vision of God, our salvation, and God’s power for us.
