In order to help you build a rhythm of prayer whilst you are preparing for your exams, we will have regular Morning Prayer (excluding Wednesdays) and Evening Worship times in the exam period (Mon 28th April – Friday 30th May).
Below are Bible verses or prayers we may say together during Morning Prayer:
Blessings
2 Corinthians 13:14 – May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 – Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
Ephesians 3:16 – I pray that out of his glorious riches God may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
Numbers 6:24-25 – The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.

Study Space Liturgy
Our Father, in these weeks, you have given us the tasks of loving and learning.
May we love one another today, as you have loved us.
And learn, as working for you.
Stir our hearts, Lord.
Direct our thoughts and longing towards you.
The physical world reflects your design, the human world reflects your image.
As we study, stir our hearts to delight in your world and long for its remaking,
And so to delight in you, its Maker and Redeemer.
Still our hearts, Lord.
When anxiety swells, calm and quiet us.
When our worth is found in our grades and achievements,
We find ourselves proud, envious, fearful or shameful.
Grant us the grace to find our worth in your finished work for us,
And lead us from there to love, humility and service.
Sustain our hearts, Lord.
In the weariness of much study, sustain and restore us.
Give us gratitude for even the toil of an education which others would long for.
Teach us in these days,
The patience of slowly labouring for that which is hard to measure, and only counted at the end.
The discipline of persisting in tasks that may seem small and futile, but which in sum, amount to our formation.
The blessing of gathering, to carry and be carried, when alone we would stumble sooner and procrastinate longer.
The truth of testing, that though painful and unpleasant, when submitted to willingly, it refines and strengthens us.
The posture of hope, in which, through both labouring and longing, our hearts are set on what is to come: the joyful delights of rest, celebration, completion and freedom.
