Thomas Rees

My name’s Thomas, and I was born and grew up in South Shields. Because the northeast of England is the best place in the world, I left my hometown to study physics in Durham in 2021. My favourite part of university life was getting stuck into church, particularly the worship team and prison ministry. My faith has grown hugely while I’ve been at Kings, and I can’t wait to spend a year serving Jesus and his people full-time as an Intern.

While Christ is first in my heart, Newcastle United is a close second, where I’ve been a season ticket holder for 15 years (for my sins). I also love music and can usually be found playing the guitar, songwriting, or listening to Blink-182.
