Thomas Rees

I’m Thomas, and I was born and grew up on Tyneside. Because the North East is the best place in the world, I came to Durham to study physics in 2021. My favourite part of university life was getting stuck into church, particularly the worship team and prison ministry, and I spent a year doing the Internship after I finished my degree. As a Ministry Trainee, I will be training in worship and student ministry.

While Christ is first in my heart, Newcastle United is a close second, where I’ve been a season ticket holder for 16 years. I also love music and can usually be found playing the guitar, songwriting, or listening to Blink-182.
